Coffee Cup Cozies

I finally listed these cozies! I made the pattern, sewed them, mailed them to product testers, waited for the results, sewed more, photographed them, and they are finally in my shop! I’m working on designing some less expensive items that could be stocking stuffers. These just might fit the bill.

My product testers gave these rave reviews! I wanted something simple and machine washable. A lot of people on Etsy make similar items with fabric but I just don’t like the fabrics they are using. I guess these are for people who don’t really want to make a fashion statement but still want something to replace the cardboard sleeves you get at coffee shops.

I am so proud of these shirts! I was inspired by a cute show on PBS called “Word World”. I made a toddler version and a baby version.

I haven't been creating a lot of new items lately. I have had orders to fill which makes me really happy and keeps me busy. But, I just haven't been feeling the creative spark. I have a new onesie design in the works and a scarf that is nearly done. But, for the most part, I feel a little dull. This must be a crafter's version of writer's block.

Since I haven't been listing anything new lately, I thought I'd share a shop I found the other day and can't keep my eyes off:

Baby onesies

It's getting cold, people! You know what that means? Scarves, hats, mittens...and long-sleeved clothes for your kids! I have long sleeved onesies and t-shirts available in my shop now. You can order long sleeves for the same price as short-sleeves and ALL my painted designs are available for the fall. Click on my little Etsy shop on the right side of this page. That'll take you to my actual shop where you can browse the shirts.

Happy cold weather to you!

When I first started on Etsy I couldn't stop thinking about it. I talked about it all the time. I researched, worked on crafts, studied up on how to take better photos and when to list. I was obsessed. I started this blog so I wouldn't bore my close friends anymore.

It's over a year later and I am still so happy with Etsy. A little of the luster has worn off. I'm not so in love with it / obsessed by it. But, I still check my shop about 50 times a day. Sickness.

I have found some great shops, too. Very nice people out there selling their items. It's a really nice community and I'm so happy to be a part of it.

WOW! Things have gotten busier and I'm so happy for that. It took me a year to get 105 sales. Two months later and I have 136. I had 385 hearts two months ago and now I have just over 500. I love the validation of the orders. But, honestly, it gets really hectic when my shop is busy. One - three orders a week seems like something I can handle but any more than that and I get a little stressed. Now, don't let that stop you from buying my stuff!
