Flower Jewelry

The fabric I use in my jewelry designs was handed down to me by my grandmother.  She had already cut this fabric into tiny squares in preparation for quilting.  Many of the squares are unique (meaning that I only have ONE of that fabric) and some I only have two or three squares.  Some of the fabric is geometric,

some is just plain silly,

but a lot of it is nature-inspired.  There are a lot of leaves and flowers.  I like to think about what caught my grandmother's eye while I'm making a piece of jewelry.  I try to find the very best part of the fabric to showcase.

Aren't these fabrics so beautiful?
