Apparently, it's all about the cozies. I would guess I have knit 200 of these since November. They were on the front page one day for about 45 minutes and it's been nonstop orders ever since.
I am still barely keeping my head above water with sales from my Etsy shop. The Christmas season was good to me. But, I have been filling orders constantly since November. I am ready to get back to designing. I have lots of ideas waiting to be made into scarves and onesies. Plus I spent Christmas money on spinning fiber and new yarn that I'm so excited to work with.
The thing I'm really surprised about is how many of my one-of-a-kind items haven't sold. My Christmas orders were mostly made-to-order items. But a lot of my beautiful hats are still sitting in my shop. Maybe it's because I want to get paid decent money for them and people are accustomed to buying knit hats for $2. Who knows. So much of buying and selling is still a mystery to me.
